Prince Edward Air offers corporate charter air service to and from the Island.

WestJet offers direct service to Toronto on a year round basis with direct flights from Montréal during summer months.

Sunwing Airlines offers non-stop flights between Charlottetown and Toronto from June to September.

Northwest Airlines provides direct daily service from Detroit with service from June to October.

Delta Airlines offers direct service from Boston and New York daily from June to September.

Northumberland Ferries departs from Caribou, Nova Scotia and Wood Islands, Prince Edward Island on a regular schedule. The 75- minute trip can be spent enjoying a chat and a snack, lounging on the deck or soaking up the sunshine and fresh sea air. The fare for the ferry is paid when leaving the Island.

The Confederation Bridge is a 13-km engineering phenomenon. It’s a very quick, convenient and dramatic way to arrive or depart the Island. Connecting from New Brunswick, The Bridge is open 24 hours a day and takes approximately 12 minutes to cross. Tolls are collected when leaving the Island.

What’s the Weather Like?

Summer temperatures usually range around high 20°C (70°F) to mid 30°C (90°F), with minimal humidity. Light summer apparel is recommended. Autumn is clear and bright, with temperature from 8°C to 22°C (46°F to 72°F). You will need a hat and mitts if you come to enjoy wintertime as temperatures can range from -3°C to - 22°C (25°F to 11°F). Spring is comfortable much like fall; 8°C to - 22°C (46°C to - 72°C)
