“Everything went very well; we were extremely pleased with the overall help from The Prince Edward Island Convention Partnership, the restaurant and the hotel. We couldn’t have asked for more. Our evening Seaside Social - The Eddie May Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre was the hit of the evening; the cast did an awesome job! Thanks again to the team at The Prince Edward Island Convention Partnership. If we ever do something like this again, I will be calling.”
“Our conference was immensely successful and The Prince Edward Island Convention Partnership was an important part of our planning team. The staff took me to see all our special event options and of course, we had to stop to see the view of the beach and the red-soil cliffs. One of the pictures I took became the focal point of our conference collateral material. Thanks for everything!”
“For the first time in 40 years the BMR le groupe decided to stage their annual Summer Retreat and Golf Tournament outside the province of Québec. Celebrating our Anniversary and growth in Eastern Canada, our event on PEI was indeed a huge success. From start to finish the staff at the Prince Edward Island Convention Partnership was there to offer their services and support with site inspections, booking overnight guestrooms and off site venues, organizing transportation and excursions, finding delegate gifts and even organizing our golf tournament. Everyone we dealt with was the epitome of hospitality and many delegates left saying they felt completely at home on PEI, despite never having visited before. Some 350 participants experienced the best in championship golf, as well as the history, culture and culinary delights that Prince Edward Island has to offer.”
"Everything went very well. The weather was perfect when we needed it to be and rained when we wanted delegates in sessions! Crowbush was fantastic - probably the best food we had all week (although all the food was very good). The event at the Charlottetown Historic Seaport was totally fantastic. Peakes Quay has a great team, the place looked excellent and Terry Hatty was even better than expected.
“CSAE enjoyed one of its most successful conferences in recent history in Charlottetown due to the warm welcome from The Prince Edward Island Convention Partnership, the Province of PEI, and the City and citizens of Charlottetown.”
"As a planner I find the services provided by The Prince Edward Island Convention Partnership invaluable. The Prince Edward Island Convention Partnership is another shining example of how helpful convention bureaus can be. We saved so much time because they introduced us to qualified venues and suppliers and they continue to provide ongoing support as we get closer to our event. They have proven to be a reliable service that I can always depend on. It is a pleasure to work with them!”
"My experience with The Prince Edward Island Convention Partnership has been nothing less than great! The staff were very helpful from my very first phone inquiry right through to site inspections. Once the meeting and social requirements of Pizza Delight Corporation were relayed to the staff, they provided us with several proposals and arranged for site inspections at the facilities that interested us, from hotels to Irish pubs. Their expertise and suggestions were very welcome and certainly made my job as a meeting coordinator so much easier! We look forward to working with The Prince Edward Island Convention Partnership again in the future.”
"The Canadian Association of Motor Transport Administrators (CCMTA) Annual Meeting, held May 19-24, 2006 was a huge success and I want to thank you for your part in ensuring that success. You and all the staff at the PEI Convention Partnership were very helpful during the time leading up to the event. You certainly contributed to making sure our participants had an enjoyable experience and hopefully they will return to the Island.
Please accept my thanks for your contribution during our event."
"It went fabulously - I wish all conferences were held in smaller cities like Charlottetown, as everyone was so welcoming. The hotel staff were tremendous - a different side of “service” than you get in larger centres. When I checked out of The Great George on Saturday morning after having overnighted there from my quick trip to St. John's to do some preliminary work for our 2008 conference - I was thanked profusely for having brought our conference to Charlottetown - a nice touch on my departure. The personalized signage and cookies at the airport were all well received and our members thought the conference was a great success. Obviously the weather cooperating and allowing a lot of golfers to get out for a few rounds did help!
Thanks again for all your support and extras!" |
